1. ADMIT IT : Taking responsibility for what you did show strength and maturity. People may not accept your apology right away- but they'll respect that you didn't run from your mistakes.
2. FIX IT : Ask yourself what you would do differently next time. You won't botch things the same way if you can stop them from happening in the first place!
3. MOVE ON : Messing up once doesn't make you a failure as a person, so chalk it up as a major learning experience- and then forgive yourself.
